What is Just Jesse?
Just Jesse is a media-first agency for small-to-medium businesses on the Central Coast. We have the full range of media skills under one roof, and we take the hassle of content, management and marketing off your plate. We plan, script, shoot and edit everything, so you get content that's ready to use without having to make it yourself.
Who do you work with?
We work with established small-to-medium businesses that want professional, consistent content: trades, home services, health and fitness, real estate, retail and more. If you have a great business but your content doesn't show it, we're a good fit.
How are you different from hiring a videographer?
A videographer films what you ask for. We also act as your content strategist. We plan every video around your goals, track how it performs, and adjust future shoots based on what's bringing in enquiries and sales.
Do you only create social media content?
Social media is where most businesses need us, but we're not limited to it. If you have bigger plans, we can handle small productions, studio shoots, and on-site video and photography. Being media first means we have the full set of media capabilities, whatever the size of the job.
What's included in a content package?
Every package covers the full process: a 1-hour pre-shoot meeting, planning and scripting, the shoot day itself, and all editing. You don't need to brief an editor or write a single script.
What does the process look like?
First we meet for an hour to talk about your business, goals and offers. Then we send your scripts and video ideas at least 3 days before the shoot. On the day, we film. After that, your content is edited and delivered.
How quickly will I get my content?
Your first video is delivered within 48 hours of the shoot, and your full package within 7 days.

Do I have to be on camera?
Yes, someone from your business needs to appear on camera, because people trust faces, not logos. It doesn't have to be awkward. You can either be mic'd up while you walk us through a job, or answer questions interview-style while we cover your answers with footage.

How do I prepare for shoot day?
Read through the scripts and ideas we send you, and make sure the people, space and products we're filming are ready to go. The more prepared you are, the better the content.

How do I book a shoot?
A $600 deposit locks in your shoot date. If the deposit isn't paid at least 5 days before the shoot, the shoot will be moved to a later date.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
If you reschedule within 5 days of the shoot, the deposit is non-refundable. Confirmed dates also carry a $550 cancellation fee, unless there are extreme circumstances.

Can you post the content for me?
Yes. Our managed posting add-on is $129/week. You drop your own photos and clips into a shared drive, and we post them alongside the videos we create, with optimised captions and a weekly content calendar.

Can you run ads for my business?
Yes, we can. Because we're a media-first agency, when we run your ads we're in control of the creative. The video and imagery is what makes an ad stop the scroll, so we make sure it's done right. We can also build landing pages that turn that attention into enquiries, and bring you more leads through our video marketing options.

Can I use the content however I like?
Yes. The finished videos and photos we deliver are yours to use across your website, socials, ads and anywhere else. Raw footage stays in our library.

Will you use footage from my shoot to promote Just Jesse?
By default, we capture some behind-the-scenes footage on shoot days to show our work. If you'd rather we didn't, just let us know and we'll leave it out.
